Dave Boston started playing drum kit when he was ten and immediately found he had a passion for rhythm. He has gone on to study extensively. Music at York St John University, Malinké djembe and dundun in Guinea, and Cuban conga and bata drumming in Havana. Alongside playing with Blackbeard’s Tea Party Dave plays in the Axis percussion trio and teaches group drumming and percussion at various schools. Dave contributes energetic drumming and a powerful stage presence to the band.
